Dream Mall is currently (as of April 2007) the biggest mall in Taiwan and possibly also the biggest in Asia (?). The building's beauitfully designed, exterior and interior. It looks good both in the morning and at night.
There are so many stores inside that it won't be easy for one to actually browse through all of them in one day. Lots of elevators and escalators inside. So look around before you decide to get in line just to get on a certain escalator. I've personally witnessed 20+ people lining up for one escalator while there were only 5 people going up another escalator close by. So why don't those 20+ people go take the other one? I guess it's because you cannot really see the other one when you are standing at certain angles. So don't line up unless you are 100% sure that there's no other escalator/elevator around. ;)
During weekends and holidays, the top floor where the ferris wheel is can be quite crowded as there are also some other facilities other than the wheel up there.. all crammed into a relative small space (also, note this is as of April 2007). My advice is to just rule out the ones you are not interested and just enjoy the sparkling sight of the ferris wheel or whatever that interests you.
Oh and don't just look inside the Mall. Take a walk outside, too. There are some other things to see outside the building. Enjoy!
